What is a Custom Movement Plan?
Our coaching staff offers movement assessments and a movement plans to address technique refinement or help an individual return to play in their specific sport. It can be said, that failure in function and performance can be attributed to faulty posture and technique. With an individualized KMS Movement Plan, you can discover areas in performance that may need refinement and receive a customized plan of movement drills specific to training days, active recovery days, and/or rest days. The KMS Movement Plan can also benefit athletes of any level can who utilize this coaching service as a stepping block to return to performance following injury rehabilitation. We assess and coach exercise technique and posture based off of developmental kinesiology principles. We look at the quality at each individual’s foundation of movement and seek to refine, constantly moving in the direction towards movement mastery. Your coach will create an individualized Movement Plan that will challenge you to develop better kinesthetic awareness, improved motor control of posture and technique, rebuild or strengthen foundations, all in efforts to transfer these foundations of human movement into optimal performance.

What does it entail?
A movement assessment typically submitted in the form of recent training footage (if barbell lifts are not possible we will request specific assessments). We’ll take the information gathered in your intake form and review your video assessment and build a 1x Custom Movement Plan. The Movement Plan will include links to our private video library, descriptions of each drill, how often and how much if each drill to perform, and strategies for long term improvement. If you want feedback on a specific drill you’ll have access to our private Facebook community where you may submit videos and receive feedback from our coaches and community members.
Our coaching staff has the ability to assess exercise and human movement for areas needing refinement and seek to coach individuals in the field of strength training. Our coaching staff does not diagnose injury or provide injury rehabilitative services.
