We are a group of passionate amateur-to-elite level athletes with a shared goal in bettering ourselves and growing as athletes and people. Our gym is a “laboratory” where we test cutting edge equipment and methodologies before sharing them with the rest of the world via our platform. We are welcoming to anyone, as long as they share the passion of self-improvement and physical training that guides and shapes our lives, minds, and bodies. Stop by and say hello!

Lab Application Process

The Kabuki Strength Lab is located in sunny (rainy) Portland, Oregon. Our address is:
14350 SE Industrial Way. Clackamas, OR 97015

You may stop by the Lab to visit anytime during business hours, Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, or Saturdays 8am-1pm. If you would like to schedule a walk-through please email “info@kabukiwarrior.com” to ensure someone is available to give you a tour. The Lab is a private facility and all members must apply and be approved prior to being accepted as Lab members. The purpose of our application process is to ensure our facility is a good fit for new members, and that they are a good fit for us and our community.

Please download the membership application found here, print it, fill it out, and bring it in with you to the Lab.

After your membership is accepted, click here to access our member subscription page and subscribe to a payment plan. The password to access the page will be provided to you once your application has been approved. If you haven’t received the password please email “andrei@kabukistrength.com”.

After you’ve submitted your application and subscribed to a payment plan, you will be given a keycard which allows you 24/7 access to the Lab. We expect all of our members to treat our facility with respect and care. Please be responsible and pick up after yourselves, leaving the gym as clean or cleaner than you found it. Members may bring guests into the gym, however the guest must pay the $15 day fee and sign the waiver by the door – no exceptions! If you are the last member to leave at night, please ensure

  1. all open bay doors are closed and locked and
  2. the lights and stereo are shut off in the main gym area

Our members are welcome to train any way they wish. Some prefer to train alone, and we are ok with that. We do encourage everyone to group up and train with the team during our official team training times! Scroll down to see our calendar.

Our coaches have years of experience both competing at an elite-level and coaching world-class athletes. They are available during team training times (view calendar below). The Lab is a place where we “coach coaches” rather than just athletes. Expect to learn, expect to grow, expect to excel.

Chris Duffin

Head Coach

World-renowned strength athlete and coach. Co-founder and CFO of Kabuki Strength. Motivational speaker and life coach. Inventor and Innovator.

Rudy Kadlub

Head Coach

Mature athlete and coach, holds over 24 world and american records in powerlifting.

John Hare

Head Coach

John holds multiple world and american records in RAW and Single/Multi-ply powerlifting across various federations. He is a long-time Kabuki Strength coach.

Brandon Senn

Head Coach of Virtual Training

Brandon heads up the coaching department at Kabuki Strength and is pioneering the way for the use of Velocity Based Training methods.

Brady Cable

Movement/Tempering Coach

In-house expert on movement and body tempering. Works with athletes of all sorts on assessing and correcting movement and biomechanical issues.
