YOUR FAVORITE MOBILITY TOOL. EVEN BETTER.

Kabuki Strength athletes, coaches, and engineers have worked together to improve upon the already perfect tool – the Shoulderok. Introducing the Tactical Shoulderok – a blacked-out, two-piece breakdown version of one of the most popular strength and mobility tools on the market. But does it really work? Here’s just a few testimonials on the Shoulderok from some of our customers…

I never thought I'd bench heavy again, but was wrong!

I’ve had an impingement in my left shoulder for over five years, it was an injury that I assumed would be with me forever, barring surgery, which for friends of mine, has not been overly successful.
Long story short, after just a month of using the shoulderok I was able to bench 191kg with no hand out or spotter, at 110kg body weight, and 40rs old, my all time PB was only 228kg with no injuries.
To say I’m happy would be a massive understatement! Every serious lifter should own one of these, for both prevention and cure.
A HUGE thanks to Chris and Kabuki for bringing this product to market.

It's a life saver

This thing is amazing. I’ve had shoulder issues for so long even though I’ve done all the rehab, mobility, rotator cuff work. It has always been my limiting factor for bench and couldn’t squat at one point due to the pain. Got the shoulderok as a last ditch effort. I don’t know how it works and I don’t care. It is AMAZING. I Struggled to even swing it without weight and this coming from a longtime powerlifter who weighs about 275lbs. Took a couple weeks to add weight but did it 3 times a week slowly adding weight. I am shoulder pain free. I can put my arms above my head without loosing feeling or having pain set it. My shoulder press skyrocketed up. Hit a PR bench recently and still climbing. I am now able to grab the bar narrower on squats whereas before I could barely grab inside the collars.
I now use it 1-2 times a week. How this is not in every gym blows my mind. I suggest it to everyone I meet who has any sort of shoulder issues. Next up is the duffalo bar.

Is there a rating above 5 stars?

Ive had the Shoulderok for a while now and I have to say this is the best purchase I’ve ever made for my lifting career. My shoulders feel incredible and I have better mobility than I’ve had in a long long time. The videos that are sent along are extremely helpful, Chris explains everything very well, and the customer service quality is second to none. If you have any doubt as to whether or not you should get this GET IT it will be well worth your money. Thanks Chris keep it up!

Duffin created a magic wand

First off I love the customer service and email updates. It’s done professionally and well. The website is easy to navigate. Stellar. Now to the Shoulderök. I was so excited to get this I made my wife bring it to work after it got delivered so I could swing it around like a dummy in the front yard.
1 – I feel like a Norse god picking it up.
2 – I also feel like a 6 yr old trying to hit a 98mph fastball.
3 – start LIGHT!! Too heavy, too soon and it will make you feel like a bitch.
4 – I’m now two weeks in and my shoulder hasn’t felt this good since before I tore my labrum. I have more stability and just hit a 10 lb PR on my standing shoulder press.
5 – my shoulder doesn’t fall asleep anymore when I sleep on it.
6 – my buddy tried it and hit himself in the thigh(coordination is not his strong suit) which made my day immensely better.

All in all, this is an outstanding product that I wish would have been around 7 years ago Donny shoulder didn’t feel like shit for so long. Thanks Chris!!

FEATURES
FEATURES
  • Portable

For the first time, you can now travel with your Shoulderok anywhere in the world. We’ve had hundreds of requests from Shoulderok customers to produce a portable version of the Rok so they can take it with them to competitions, training events, seminars, or on vacation! The Tactical Shoulderok breaks down easily into two pieces and fits snuggly into a hard-shell case with custom-cut high-density foam. Easily transport your Rok, and up to three 5 pound plates anywhere in the world with you.

  • Free Standing

The Shoulderok head is around a 2.5″ diameter flat surface, however when adding a plate the surface of the plate was not flush with the surface of the head. Each Tactical Shoulderok now comes with a custom machined 5lb plate that will sit flush with the Shoulderok head and allow for a large 6+ inch flat area so the Rok can standup by itself.

  • Black Oxide Plated for Durability and Aesthetics

Each Tactical Shoulderok comes blacked-out with a proprietary Black Oxide coating. Previously the black oxide coating was an added cost to customers until we had to remove it from the market due to manufacturing issues. Well, it’s back and included in the price of the Tactical Shoulderok!

  • Precision Loading

Like the original Shoulderok, the Tactical Rok is precision loadable to allow for progression in the movement just like a regular barbell movement. The user can start with the Rok by itself before progression to added weight using the included 5lb plate. The threaded head can hold multiple 5 or 10lb plates and even 25 or 45lb plates (we do not recommend 45lb plate use).

  • Simply Effective

    1. Retrain your nervous system to ensure a stable, braced, neutral spinal position for maximal and safe performance under a heavy load.
    2. Improve scapular and overall shoulder mobility, especially for athletes with impingement due to years of wear and poor movement.
    3. Increase rotational strength and athleticism in pulsing (speed to contraction and speed to relaxation).
    4. Reinforce correct breathing to further support spinal bracing for ALL heavy lifts and movements that require transfer of power from the ground into an implement (ball, bat, club, etc) – You cannot use the ShouldeRok correctly w/o setting up properly, in this sense it is a tool that reinforces a principle required of all athletes – power transfer through the core.
  • A brief history of the Shoulderok

The Macebell or Gada is a classical training tool dating back centuries.  Its original use was in the wrestling for fighting cultures of ancient Persia and India.  My first experience using one was about 8 years ago when I attempted to incorporate it for shoulder development and conditioning. As a competitive powerlifter I quickly abandoned its use finding that combined with my powerlifting training it aggravated my wrist, elbows, and shoulders. However 2 years ago I decided to make another run at using the macebell again.  I had been making tremendous gains in shoulder health and mobility with my progression into Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and some associated kettlebell work.  I decided to try the swing again but focus on some refinement in the movement based on the DNS methodologies.  The goal was to simply realize some training efficiency as the swing was a very active warmup.  If I could accomplish my rehab, prehab, and warmup all at the same time I would have more time to focus on my actual training. With the new approach to the swing my shoulder pain that I had been experiencing daily for the last 8 years disappeared after the first 30 days.  This is pain that had kept me from sleeping, interfered with my training, and I was only able to manage in the short term with mobilizing and re-seating drills.  Gone!  I couldn’t believe the change.  Being surrounded by powerlifters and strongman I found several other test subjects similar to myself and quickly found that the same thing happened. That was when I decided to develop the tool into what we now are marketing to others as the ShouldeRök™.
